After all the creative staff are selected one after another, the producer should arrange all creative departments to make preparations according to the shooting plan. Specifically, during the preparatory period, all departments should complete the following preparatory work:

( 1)? Directing department

The director polished the play. In fact, no director has filmed the script completely, unless the director wrote it himself. The director creates a shot book, and the shot reflects the creative intention. The director communicates and discusses with the creative staff to ensure that there is a unified artistic idea to guide the preparatory work. Before the official shooting, the director will also give a director's explanation to all the staff in order to unify the creative ideas.

(2) Photography Department

Photographers, lighting engineers and directors watch the scenery together and design some shooting techniques and lighting methods in advance. The photography team should provide the production team with a list of required photographic equipment and check the rented photographic equipment during the trial. The lighting team shall provide the production team with the required lighting list and check the rented lighting equipment.

(3)? Fine arts department

Guide the creation of design art, scenery, props, makeup and clothing departments, so that all the staff can reach a * * * understanding of the aesthetic style of the film and unify their creative ideas. The American Trade Union brought the appropriate set photos back to the crew, and accompanied the director, photographer, lighting and other departments to see and set the scenery. There should not be too many scenes, not too scattered, and the distance between scenes should not be too long, which is convenient for centralized shooting. Art, scenery, props and other departments cooperate to complete the preparation of shooting scenes, and when the conditions for real-life shooting are not available, artificial scenery should be carried out.

(4)? Recording department

The sound engineer communicates with the director to design the sound effects of the whole play. The sound engineer and other creative staff watched the scene together and were quite familiar with the recording conditions of the upcoming scene. The recording department provides the production team with the required equipment list, and checks and tries the rented recording equipment.

The production director and the on-site producer followed the director to inspect the site. When choosing a scene, they should meet the requirements of the script and understand the traffic conditions, climate conditions, communication conditions, accommodation conditions and so on. I know the scene like the back of my hand, and I know how to arrange the shooting plan and how to mobilize the on-site staff to cooperate with the shooting. At the same time, it is also responsible for negotiating the use conditions and signing contracts with the responsible persons of the selected sites. The production department makes a shooting plan.
