Liuzhou tourism recommendation:

Liuzhou Longtan Park 1

Longtan Park, located in the south of Liuzhou, is a large-scale scenic spot integrating karst natural landscape, southern minority customs culture, subtropical karst plant research, popular science and plant landscape. Longtan Park is surrounded by lush trees and mountains, forming its own barrier. Twenty-four peaks, such as Wohu Mountain, Meiren Peak and The Peacock Mountain, have different shapes and stand between four valleys of one lake (Mirror Lake) and two lakes (Longtan and Tan Lei).

A clear spring gushed from the cliff of Leishan Mountain and merged into the "Longtan" between Leishan Mountain and Longlong Mountain, which was called "Tang Lei" in ancient times, and the "Tan Lei" separated by a certain distance was connected with it by an underground river. Clear water flows into Jinghu Lake through the "Eight Dragons Snow Spraying Dam", meanders through the park like Youlong, and then flows into the cave under the Penghua Mountain outside the park, disappearing without a trace.

2. Liu Hou Park

Liu Hou Park is located on the east side of the central square on the north bank of Liujiang River. It was built in 1906 and covers an area of about 20 hectares. In memory of Liu Zongyuan, a famous writer, thinker and politician in the Tang Dynasty, it was expanded by Liuzhou people on the basis of the original Liu Hou Temple, and has now developed into a comprehensive cultural park covering an area of 15.5 hectares. There are nearly 7 hectares of artificial lakes in the park, with clear water and curved bridges, which set each other off. The lake is lush with trees, pavilions and rockeries and pleasant scenery.

The southern part of the park is a cultural relic area: Tang and Song relics, Ming and Qing stone carvings, restored buildings in previous dynasties and towering ancient trees are integrated; There are children's playgrounds, artificial lakes and zoos. In the middle, it is the largest children's paradise in the city; The northern part is the flower bonsai area, and the "Return of Landscape" bonsai garden located at the northern end of the area is artificially created and has the characteristics of Lingnan gardens.
