According to the characteristics of petrochemical industry, a virtual professional environment has been constructed, which can realize the start-up, stop and normal operation, instrument configuration operation, instrument simulation operation, computer-aided design and other training work of eight chemical unit operations, large-scale refining and polymerization devices. Eight real vocational training rooms have been built, including oil refining, chemical engineering, machinery, control, electricity, computer and other majors.
In 2004, the college received 5 million yuan from the central finance and Liaoning provincial finance to support the construction of training bases, and built training bases in petrochemical industry, petrochemical industry, mechanical numerical control, computer and international trade. In 2005, the Ministry of Education approved the construction project of electrical and electronic automation training base. Four vocational skill appraisal stations (institutes) have been established, namely, National Vocational Skill Appraisal Institute of Liaoning Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College, Computer Information Technology Examination Station, Professional Skill Appraisal Station of Specific Types of Work and Professional Skill Appraisal Station of Petrochemical Industry (South Campus of the College). The types of jobs that have been identified with intermediate or above vocational skills: national computer level, national English level, chemical process tester, chemical inspector, industrial automation instrument and device assembler, maintenance electrician, locksmith, refrigeration worker, numerical control technician and draftsman. Nearly 3000 students have participated in six phases of research, with an average pass rate of over 98% and a "secondary vocational qualification acquisition rate" of over 93%. The employment rate and quality of employment are constantly improving.
There are three main ways to implement order education: before order, during order and after order.
