The blood station in the city center began to organize blood donation without compensation from 1994. 1 September, 1998, 100% of clinical blood came from voluntary blood donation, and in 20061month, 100% of clinical blood came from voluntary blood donation by citizens, ranking first in the country in the same year. In recent years, the station has continuously explored the construction of a long-term mechanism for unpaid blood donation and achieved remarkable results.

The blood station in the city center is based on the strategy of "developing the station through science and education", and many tasks are at the forefront of the same industry in China. More than 20 kinds of blood components, such as frozen-thawed deglycerided red blood cells, virus inactivated plasma, irradiated blood and blood components, are provided for clinic. The blood transfusion rate of clinical components in the city is 99%, reaching the international advanced level; Provide clinical therapeutic apheresis technology, stem cell culture and cryopreservation technology for special blood components; Carry out platelet transfusion matching, neonatal hemolysis examination, prenatal examination, difficult blood matching, organ and bone marrow transplantation matching, paternity testing and other testing services. As one of the laboratories in China hematopoietic stem cell donor database, Qingdao Tissue Matching Laboratory of this station ranks among the best in previous laboratory quality control sampling, with nearly 50,000 HLA typing volunteers' data as of 20 12, and a database of known HLA/HPA typing platelet donors has been established in Qingdao to provide specific matching for patients with ineffective immune platelet transfusion. The station actively carries out scientific research and cooperative research related to blood transfusion medicine, immunogenetics and molecular biology. In recent years, it has obtained 13 scientific research achievements, including 7 provincial and municipal technological progress awards, and is currently under research 1 1. The blood station in the city center regards blood quality as its life, and has established a quality management system in line with its own characteristics according to the requirements of blood station management measures, quality management regulations and norms promulgated by the national health administrative department. Over the years, I have participated in the inter-room quality control of international, national and provincial health departments, and the accuracy rate has reached 100%. Among them, I organized the matching laboratory to participate in the international external quality control of UCLA in the United States, and the nucleic acid testing laboratory participated in the international external quality evaluation sponsored by the Australian National Reference Laboratory, which further improved the quality control level of key links. The laboratory of this station passed the national laboratory qualification accreditation of China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), which further improved the standardization and standardization level of laboratory management. Since 20 10, as the first batch of pilot units of nucleic acid detection in China, the parallel mode of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and nucleic acid detection has been adopted in blood detection, which greatly improves the detection sensitivity, shortens the detection window and reduces the residual risk. The station established and gradually improved the "Qingdao Intelligent Blood Information Management System", and realized the whole process information tracking and quality monitoring from blood vessels to blood vessels, as well as the process control of clinical blood transfusion management. Its blood quality management has been in the forefront of the country, and no infectious diseases spread by blood transfusion have been found so far. With the care and support of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, under the leadership of the Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, and with the selfless dedication and unremitting efforts of all cadres, workers and blood donors in the central blood station, Qingdao has won the honor of "National Advanced City for Free Blood Donation" for nine consecutive times. For four years in a row, this station has been rated as the national and provincial advanced health system collective, provincial advanced blood donation unit, provincial civilized unit, provincial "model window unit" of health system serving the people, provincial "labor award for enriching the people and prospering Shandong", municipal party committee and municipal government "outstanding contribution award for creating a civilized city", municipal party committee "advanced grassroots party organization" and Qingdao "civilized unit". The station's "Mobile Blood Bank for 10,000 People in Health System" and "Red Cross Volunteer Corps for Voluntary Blood Donation" won the title of Qingdao Top Ten Dust Public Welfare Stars, the "Panda Blood" Emergency Blood Donation Volunteer Service Team won the "Touching Qingdao" Top Ten People Group Award, and the "True Blood" service brand was awarded as Qingdao service brand. The station was awarded the Olympic Red Cross Special Contribution Award by the China Red Cross for its outstanding performance in the blood protection work of sailing competition in the 29th Paralympic Games.
