What are the main reasons for the relocation of No.8 Middle School? Is it because the space is limited?

Cao Yong: Yes. No.8 Middle School originally occupied a very large area. Now Huayu Square in the Three Gorges Square and Jiaxing Square in Xiaolongkan are actually the original campuses of Shu Ren School, which is bigger than the current Three Gorges Square business circle. However, after the adjustment, the No.8 middle school campus is limited to an area of more than 60 mu and cannot be expanded, which is the bottleneck for expanding the scale of running a school. Now there are fewer students in No.8 Middle School than in No.1 Middle School and No.3 Middle School.

There are currently 64 classes in No.8 Middle School. After moving to Yubei, there will be 120 classes, with a campus area of 358 mu, almost five times larger than now, and the number of students will double. For No.8 Middle School, which is trying to relocate, this is an important relocation and an overall relocation.

The municipal government and the Municipal Education Commission attached great importance to the relocation of No.8 Middle School, and the Yubei District Government gave strong support, which also accelerated the pace of the relocation of No.8 Middle School.

The present headquarters of No.8 Middle School will still exist in the future, with about 45 students in each class, which will be used as experimental teaching for teaching reform.
