It is planned to build six million kilowatt PWR nuclear power units, which is the second nuclear power base of CGNPC in Guangdong. The project adopts self-owned brand nuclear power technology CPR 1000, which is constructed and operated by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Yangjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., fully managed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and led by Shenzhen China Guangdong Nuclear Power Design Co., Ltd.. Taishan Nuclear Power Station is located in Taishan City, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. It is planned to build four PWR nuclear power units, which will be completed in stages and at one time, with two units in the first phase.
