Is biomedicine a pit?

Biomedical major is not tiankeng major.

The legendary four sinkholes, biochemical ring materials and biology rank first. However, it is undeniable that biology is one of the fastest-growing fields in recent twenty years and has made great achievements. From genetics to neuroscience, from medicine to today's antiviral epidemic, biology has already proved its significance, but why is it still called tiankeng?

There is nothing more than one reason for being called a sinkhole. Graduates have poor employment or low employment benefits. Either finish your degree and become a researcher, or learn some fur and graduate and change careers.

But this intuitive understanding really can't explain why biology is called tiankeng. 20 17 I searched all the recruitment websites in Malaysia, but I couldn't find any jobs in artificial intelligence and machine learning. At that time, such jobs were in great demand in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. In other words, the lack of jobs is not necessarily because of this industry, but because this place does not attach importance to and develop this industry.

To put it bluntly, there is no job in such an influential major, which is a backward performance.
