Brief introduction of Leiyang Power Plant in Hunan Province

Leiyang Power Plant is located in leiyang city (under Hengyang City), the hometown of Cai Lun, an ancient paper inventor in China. It is located on the Leishui River. The factory covers an area of 260 hectares, surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side. It is a "garden factory" in Hunan Province. Two 200,000 kW domestic coal-fired units were put into operation in 1988 and 1989, respectively. Two 300,000 kW units of the second phase expansion project were put into operation in February 2003 and June 2004 respectively, which is the first million-class thermal power plant in Hunan. At present, the third phase of the expansion project is being prepared.
