How should I use Behance?

Designers use it for creative communication.

Behance is actually a creative exchange website owned by Adobe. If you register Behance, you must know that the account is the same as Adobe's account. The fundamental reason for maintaining high quality and high activity for so many years is that few designers can bypass Adobe's design software. Behance can be said to appear as a by-product of Adobe design software.

Behance mainly focuses on the field of non-interactive design, covering a wide range of content. The content of interactive design is weak because the software developed by Adobe did not involve interactive design at first, so the communication website of interactive design is mainly in dribble, which appeared many years later than Behance.

So if you are a designer engaged in industrial design, graphic design, advertising and other directions, Behance is still very worth browsing and using.

Coincidentally, in the user experience class last semester, I just made a comparative report on the app experience of Behance and Station Cool. Behance was soon unified, and it didn't take long for the overall interaction of the app to be greatly updated. Because it is an old interactive experience and has nothing to do with the problem, I won't say much, but to sum up a conclusion, Behance is professional because it can always be streamlined.

You need to register first, publish your excellent projects, and keep a certain activity. The activity mentioned here is not to praise and comment on others, but to constantly release new projects. Of course, design projects can't be released every day like a circle of friends, and it would be nice to be released for a month or two.

Poor projects can also be released, but it will not bring various benefits to be discussed later, so just entertain yourself. No matter which field you choose, if you choose to search by release time, you will see a large number of projects with uneven levels.

As far as my personal experience is concerned, releasing some high-quality projects can bring some different opportunities while spreading. I have received all kinds of private letters, including cooperation invitations from foreign designers and teams, cooperation invitations from domestic design companies, job invitations from design departments of domestic enterprises and design invitations from domestic headhunters.

At the beginning of 18, the head of a department of Didi Chuxing invited me to work directly on behalf of hance. As a student, I only practiced for a short time in winter vacation.

Of course, you can also actively search for jobs directly in the job search section. All the work information is published globally, and can be searched by country and region, but there is little content published in Chinese mainland. Just a few years ago, DJI and Harman Kardon released recruitment information in Shenzhen, but not in other regions.

There are many remarkable things about mobile app, especially besides Behance itself, there is also a collection of Behance Display, which can synchronize its published projects and can be directly installed on the pad for external display. Of course, if you don't publish the project yourself, this app will be useless.

It is also worth noting that when publishing a project, you can simply edit the project, including text description (font), background color and so on. You will know after using it. Because it is an external network, and Behance supports high-quality large-scale image uploading, both browsing and uploading projects are very testing the network speed. Uploading often fails before it is harmonious, and it is difficult to browse in places with poor network speed.
