According to the different shapes and thicknesses of blanks, corresponding glazing methods are adopted. Glazing process is one of the manufacturing processes of ancient ceramics, which refers to applying glaze slurry on the surface of the molded ceramic body. This process determines the final color.

5. Kiln combustion

Kiln firing is a process in which clay is fired and shaped by heating fire to generate high temperature in man-made buildings. The method of building kiln factory can be covered with soil, coal cake and siltstone, which is slightly different in different provinces and regions. The heat resistance of each covering method is different. The heat-resistant time of earth kiln is the shortest, and that of stone kiln is the longest.

Kiln firing process Kiln firing time is about one day and night, and the temperature is about 1300 degrees. First, the kiln door is built, and the kiln is ignited. The fuel is pine.
