In 2009, huangpi district People's Hospital graduated from the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology with the first doctor. He led the establishment of a brand-new surgical department, specializing in chest, brain and exocrine secretion. Under the leadership of Dr. Zhang Yi, the development of three surgical subjects has continuously achieved zero breakthrough, which has opened a new era of surgical business development in Huangpi area. More than 70 cases of extracranial surgery, thoracic surgery 100 cases, the first off-pump bypass surgery, the successful treatment of many patients with heart rupture, the successful treatment of minimally invasive surgery such as thoracolaparoscopy combined with radical resection of esophageal cancer and natural cavity cholecystectomy, all achieved good therapeutic results, which pushed the development of surgical specialty to a historical peak and promoted the development of other related majors. In particular, thoracolaparoscopy combined with Ivor Lewis radical resection of esophageal cancer is the first successful operation in our province, which indicates that the development of general thoracic surgery in our hospital has reached the advanced level in our province. In addition, Xu Hai, a foreign master of Zhu Qiushi's discipline and endocrinology, is constantly pushing this discipline forward.
