(4) Being disabled at work and completely incapacitated by the hospital (confirmed by the labor appraisal committee). According to the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance (implemented since January 1, 24), if an employee is identified as a first-to-fourth-grade disability due to work-related disability, he/she will retain his/her labor relationship, quit his/her post and enjoy disability allowance on a monthly basis; Workers with work-related injuries who have reached retirement age and gone through retirement formalities will stop receiving disability allowance and enjoy basic old-age insurance benefits. If the basic old-age insurance benefits are lower than the disability allowance, the industrial injury insurance fund will make up the difference.
