According to the plan, a cross-city road network connection plan of "12 high roads, 10 fast roads, 41 main roads and 18 secondary roads" will be formed between the three places in the future. At the same time, a total of more than 30 national railways, intercity railways, and intercity urban rails will connect Shenzhen-Dongguan and Shenzhen-Huizhou. Currently, cross-city buses between Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou The traffic volume is about 1.36 million passengers/day, travel is relatively active, and commuting characteristics are beginning to appear. In order to better meet the commuting needs of citizens, Shenzhen-Dongguan transportation will be further optimized. In terms of planning, Shenzhen-Dongguan will have 6 cross-city expressways and 7 cross-city expressways.

Not only highways and expressways, there will also be new measures for cross-city buses. Currently, there are 18 cross-city bus routes between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. According to the plan, the departure frequency and routes will be reasonably adjusted based on the existing basis and the actual passenger flow situation to better meet the travel needs of citizens. 3. In the future, Guangzhou and Shenzhen will be connected by 22 rail lines

According to the plan, there will be 4 national railways (Guangzhou-Shenzhen, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong, Gansu-Shenzhen, Shenyong) and 5 intercity railways (Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen, Shenzhen-Donzeng, Shenzhen-Dongguan) between Shenzhen and Dongguan in the future. Shenzhen Line 22 passes through the three administrative districts of Futian, Longhua and Longgang, and connects with multiple lines in the rail network. According to the plan, it will be extended north to Tangxia, Dongguan, or will be connected with Dongguan Line 1 (should be a branch line).

Shenzhen Line 10 passes through Futian District, Longhua District, and Longgang District, and will be extended eastward to Fenggang, Dongguan. There will be 5 stations: Dayun Chengbang Station, Guanjingtou Station, Youganpu Station, Longping East Road Station and Longping West Road Station.

The Dongguan section is laid along Longping Road, from the north side of Northeast Normal University Yitian Primary School to the southeast, crosses Wushen Expressway and Yanlong Avenue, enters Qinglin Road, and connects to the Huangge Station of Line 16 will be built.
