How to cage broilers?

The cage culture of broilers is technically different from the methods of ground flat culture and online flat culture. Therefore, it is necessary to meet certain conditions and pay attention to the following aspects:

(1) chicken coop must be completely closed, no windows. The air in the henhouse is exhausted by the exhaust fan, and fresh air enters the henhouse through the air inlet.

(2) According to the nutritional requirements of caged broilers, the corresponding feed formula was designed to meet the needs of growth and development under high-density caged conditions. The vitamins in the feed formula are increased by 20% on average compared with the standard of flat feeding on the ground, which is suitable for the needs of caged broilers.

(3) Commercial broilers are raised in three layers of overlapping cages, that is, from 1 day to full cage feeding, so as to increase the feeding density, maximize the utilization rate of henhouses and land, and facilitate feeding management.

④ In the brooding period, the lower half of the front net of the henhouse is designed as a pear. By adjusting the baffle, the feeding needs of commercial broilers in the whole feeding process can be met.

⑤ Caging in stages, that is, brooding in a small area 2 1 day before the feeding period, saving heating costs, and gradually expanding after 2 1 day.

⑥ Improving the material and structure of cage bottom greatly reduced the incidence of breast cyst in broilers. At the same time, because the land price is getting more and more expensive, it is an inevitable trend of broiler development in the future to change flat farming to cage farming to increase broiler production and greatly reduce labor costs in order to obtain the best economic benefits.
