Of course, it is not brass gas welding wire, and brass gas welding wire cannot be used for argon arc welding. This must be made clear.

Welding skills of copper

1, multi-layer multi-channel and thin-layer narrow-channel welding methods are adopted, and the welding process of thick plate welding structure adopts multi-layer multi-channel and thin-layer narrow-channel welding methods. Arc swing should be prohibited in flat welding, horizontal welding and overhead welding, and the swing amplitude of welding torch should be strictly controlled in vertical welding. In general, the swing amplitude of the welding torch should be controlled within 20mm, and the tilt angle of the welding torch should be limited within 30.

In the welding process, the amount of deposited metal between layers should be strictly controlled, and the thickness of a single weld should not be greater than 4mm, so as to ensure that the microstructure and properties of the weld and the heat-affected zone metal meet the requirements and ensure the good cold bending and impact resistance of the welded joint. Welds should be segmented or staggered. When welding, attention should be paid to observing the melting of the groove edge to avoid undercut and incomplete fusion defects. Welds with large length should be staggered in sections.

3, control the interlayer temperature, in order to reduce the cooling rate, facilitated diffusion hydrogen escape, prevent cracks, pay attention to control the interlayer temperature when welding, interlayer temperature control should be different according to different materials, such as Q345 or Q235 extra-thick plate interlayer temperature should be controlled in the range of 150℃ -200℃.
