There were no private cars or taxis available at that time." When he saw the Anda University school bus, he felt "particularly cordial and touched." After arriving at the school, another senior came to receive him, which was "very warm". Wang Jianwen felt "a little confused". Back then, he and his family took a heavy wooden box that was more than one meter long and 50 to 60 centimeters high and took a car for five or six hours to register. As soon as he entered the school and saw the main teaching building, "I was immediately shocked by the momentum of that building." The alumni of the Class of 1986 were in the early days of reform and opening up, and their campus life was marked by the times.
