North China Institute of Science and Technology recruits junior college students.

North China Institute of Science and Technology is affiliated to state administration of work safety, and its predecessor was Beijing Coal Management Cadre College invested and built by former Ministry of Coal Industry 1984. 1993 was restructured into North China Institute of Mining and Technology, and enrolled students nationwide; 1997 was rated as one of the 27 key construction schools in China by the former State Education Commission. In 2002, it was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed North China Institute of Science and Technology.
