Zhang Yu's history

Changyu is one of the most famous wine brands in China and a pioneer in the wine industry in China. Its history can be traced back to 1892, when French missionaries gathered a group of farmers, established a grape planting base in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, north of China, and began to plant European grape varieties. This is one of the earliest grape growing areas in China, and a number of wineries were established in the early 20th century.

Changyu Winery was established in 1920 Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is one of the earliest modern wine producers in China. Since then, Changyu has covered a large number of grape planting bases and wine brewing facilities in China, and constantly introduced and cultivated grape varieties.
