The interview content of teachers' open recruitment examination mainly adopts professional interviews based on trial lectures, as well as micro-courses (or lectures) and defense (structured interviews are adopted in some areas) consistent with the applied majors and levels.

Interview examination can effectively make up for the lack of written examination on appearance, verbal expression and psychological quality. It mainly examines candidates' knowledge reserve, teaching design ability, speech expression ability and classroom control ability.

The general process is the same as the teacher qualification interview process. Choose a topic-prepare lessons-try to talk (talk about class)-reply. Candidates need to simulate the real classroom environment, create teaching situations and complete the set teaching tasks according to the syllabus, new curriculum standards and specific teaching materials. The teaching content and teaching form of the trial lecture are the same as the actual classroom teaching basis of vocational teachers, and the generally stipulated time is 15-20 minutes. The basic skills assessment of music, physical education, fine arts, computer, preschool education, special education, vocational education and other disciplines are conducted separately, and the basic skills assessment of other disciplines is conducted simultaneously with the simulation class (or lecture).

The proportion of basic skills and trial lectures in the total interview results varies from region to region. Common ones are 30% basic skills +70% trial lectures (the basic skills in some examination areas are higher than the trial lectures).

Interviews and classroom proficiency tests are used in some areas. The interview will be conducted according to the interview method stipulated by the recruiting unit, and the candidates will be informed of the specific requirements before the exam. The results will be notified to the candidates by the judges on the spot, and those who fail will cancel the classroom ability test.
