The Historical Evolution of Guangzhou First People's Hospital

Guangzhou First People's Hospital was founded in 1899, and changed its name from 1954.

1995 passed the national baby-friendly hospital evaluation and was awarded the title of "baby-friendly hospital";

1996 was designated as a deputy bureau-level unit by the municipal organization;

1997 passed the evaluation of the teaching hospital of Guangdong Higher Medical College, and was identified as the People's Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou Medical College by the Guangzhou Municipal Government;

At the end of 200 1, it was designated as the first batch of designated medical institutions for basic medical insurance for urban workers in Guangzhou;

In 2003, it was approved as a clinical intensive care center in Guangzhou.
