The Historical Evolution of Jiangsu Institute of Architecture and Technology

Xuzhou Vocational College of Architecture was originally a military school (division-level organizational system, junior college level). Founded in 1979 65438+ 10, it was named "China People's Third Capital Construction Engineer Technical School" with the approval of the Central Military Commissions of the State Council and China. Its original campus is located in Pei County, Jiangsu Province, in the same year 10 165438+ 10.

1July, 983, the military academy was changed to "Xuzhou Coal Mine Construction Engineering School", directly under the leadership of the former Ministry of Coal Industry;

1February, 984, it was renamed as "Xuzhou Coal Construction Engineering School" with the approval of the former Ministry of Coal Industry;

1994 was evaluated as "National Key Middle School" by the former State Education Commission in August;

1April, 1998, it was renamed as "Xuzhou Construction Engineering School" with the approval of the former Ministry of Coal Industry. In August of the same year, it was officially transferred to Jiangsu Province by the former Ministry of Coal Industry.

1In July, 1999, the school was upgraded to Xuzhou Vocational and Technical College of Architecture with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and became a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning.

From June 5438 to February 2005, he passed the evaluation of the talent training level of the Ministry of Education and achieved excellent results.

In July 2008, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance identified it as a "National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan".

2011/The Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Jiangsu Institute of Architecture and Technology, and passed the national acceptance in June, becoming a national model higher vocational college.
