Planning from Yulin to Shuangfeng expressway

Legal Analysis: Yulin City is still pushing ahead with the preliminary work of several expressway, all of which will be connected to Guangdong expressway Network.

Article 1 This Law is formulated in order to strengthen the construction and management of highways, promote the development of highway undertakings and meet the needs of socialist modernization and people's life.

Article 2 This Law is applicable to the planning, construction, maintenance, operation, use and management of highways in People's Republic of China (PRC).

Highways mentioned in this Law include highway bridges, highway tunnels and highway ferries.

Article 3 Highway development should follow the principles of overall planning, rational layout, quality assurance, unimpeded, environmental protection, construction, renovation and maintenance.

Article 4 People's governments at all levels shall take effective measures to support and promote highway construction. Highway construction should be included in the national economic and social development plan.

The state encourages and guides domestic and foreign economic organizations to invest in the construction and operation of highways according to law.

Article 5 The state helps and supports the development of highway construction in ethnic minority areas, remote areas and poverty-stricken areas.

Article 6 Highways are divided into national roads, provincial roads, county roads and township roads according to their status in the road network, and into expressways, first-class highways, second-class highways, third-class highways and fourth-class highways according to their technical levels. The specific division standard shall be stipulated by the transportation department of the State Council.

New highways should meet the technical grade requirements. Existing roads that do not meet the minimum technical grade requirements shall take measures to gradually transform them into roads that meet the technical grade requirements.
