Introduction of Nanyang Second People's Hospital

Nanyang Second People's Hospital is located at No.66 Jianshe East Road, Nanyang City. Formerly the clinic opened by Italians in Catholic Church in Shedian Town in 1925, it was the first western medical institution in Nanyang area. It was taken over by the government in 1951, officially became Nanyang County Hospital with the approval of the government in 1958, and was renamed Nanyang Second People's Hospital when Nanyang was set up in 1994. After more than 8 years' development, it has become a tertiary general hospital with large scale, excellent equipment and strong technical force, integrating medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and scientific research. It is a municipal and Wancheng designated hospital for medical insurance and new rural cooperative medical system, a member of Nanyang 12 emergency network, and a teaching hospital of Xinxiang Medical College, Henan University of Science and Technology and Nanyang Medical College.
