Menyuan County (generally referred to as Menyuan Hui Autonomous County) belongs to Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, located in the northeast of Qinghai Province, China, belongs to Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and is adjacent to Gansu Province in the east, east and north. It is 50 km away from Xining/KLOC-0, the provincial capital, and 250km away from Haiyan County, the resident of Haibei Prefecture.

The total area of Menyuan Hui Autonomous County is 6902.26 square kilometers.
