Pinger Village, Wushiqiao Township, Ganluo County, is a Yi village on the precipice of Liangshan North Valley. The villagers have to climb five wooden ladders up and down the cliff, and it is extremely difficult to get in and out. The villagers seldom come down from the cliff once a year. It is in such a dangerous environment that Li Guilin and Lu Jianfen, couples from the Han area, took root here in 18, sowed the seeds of knowledge in Yi village, and set up a "ladder" for villagers to get out of Yi village.

1990, when the couple came here, the backwardness and poverty of the villagers deeply shocked the Yi couple. Strong sympathy and national consciousness strengthened Li Guilin's confidence in taking root in Pinger education and won his wife's strong support. He and his wife continued to teach and educate people in 18, and * * * trained 6 students * *149, 22 of whom came from other villages. Li Guilin himself has been rated as an excellent teacher in the county twice.

There used to be a crumbling earthen house with broken walls in Erping Village Primary School, but now it has become a brick house with clean windows. The "three rates" of students (enrollment rate, consolidation rate and enrollment rate) are among the best in similar schools in the county. For more than ten years, this mountainous and dangerous place has never had a student casualty accident and has become a well-known "model village". The great changes and excellent achievements of Pinger Village Primary School are inseparable from the hard work of Mr. Li Guilin and his wife Lu Jianfen.

When Li Guilin came to Pinger Village Primary School, due to the suspension of classes at 10, there was a backlog of school-age children who were about to start school, but no one wanted to teach in this poor mountainous area. Li Guilin and his wife Lu Jianfen are engaged in education in Pinger Village. Since then, Pinger Village has become their home.

It takes a whole 10 hour from Miss Li's hometown to school. At the beginning of school, he set off early in the morning with a backpack, and his wife was holding a child over two years old. When he got to school, it was already dark and people were exhausted. His wife began to criticize Teacher Li tearfully: "Today is a good day, but you must come to this terrible place to suffer. You are possessed ... "At that time, the husband and wife only had a monthly income of 100 yuan, and their lives were extremely poor.

For more than ten years, Li Guilin and his wife "love life as children and school as home". Because the village is far away from the health center, when the school starts every year, they always pay for a lot of commonly used medicines, and once the students get sick, they will be given them free of charge. When students are sick at home, they send medicine home and take it out to make up lessons. There are floods in summer and ice falls on the rocks in winter. They always harvest early and deliver late without interruption. Teacher Li often takes time out to give students haircuts, level the playground for the school, repair the walls and green the campus. ...

1995, Lu Jianfen gave birth to her second child. Just over a month later, she went to work with her child on her back. Because of walking for a long time, she suffered from gynecological diseases, which have not been cured yet. When there are many students, Mr. Li Guilin will be a compound class with about 50 students in Grade 5 and 6.

At the local people's congress in 20001year, the delegates unanimously recommended Mr. Li Guilin to run for the post of township head. However, the parents of the students don't agree, and neither do the children in Pinger Village. The villagers said, "As soon as you leave, Teacher Lu will leave, and this school is doomed to collapse." In order to meet the wishes of the villagers in Pinger village, Teacher Li finally gave up the election.

Later, it was discovered that the child's hand was too injured and dragged for too long, which unfortunately left sequelae.
