The floating crane is a giant floating crane with two arms and two towers (A-frame) and eight hooks, with a maximum lifting weight of 8,000 tons, a lifting height of 1.20 meters above the water surface, and a maximum outboard amplitude of 57 meters when the lifting load is 8,000 tons. It can be used for transportation and installation of large components such as ship segments and offshore platform modules. The design of floating crane adopts international advanced ship design software and technology, which avoids the damage of pulley bearing caused by the excessive deviation angle between boom crown block and hook pulley of the same type of floating crane in the past, and successfully solves the problem that has long plagued the design of floating crane.
