Brief introduction of Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region

Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region, formerly known as National Central Hospital, is the first large-scale national general hospital in China. It is a large-scale modern comprehensive third-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and health care, referred to as "(Nanjing) Military Region General Hospital". Teaching hospitals of Nanjing University School of Medicine, Clinical College of Southern Medical University and Second Military Medical University. 1994 was rated as the first batch of "Grade III A hospitals", and 1999 was awarded the title of "Top 100 hospitals in China". Approved by the Ministry of Personnel in 2000, it was the first hospital in China to set up a postdoctoral research center. In 2002, it was allowed to recruit postdoctoral students independently. In July, 2003, hospital internal surgery was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and Ministry of Education as a discipline with the right to confer doctoral degrees. In the same year, the hospital won the title of "National Model Unit for Supporting the Government and Caring for the People". In 2004, it became the military postdoctoral management information center.
