Is Shenyang University really bad?

As a graduate of Shenyang University, after seeing some biased evaluations of Shenyang University, I would like to say a few words for my alma mater. The history of Shenyang University actually starts in 1980, so Shenyang University is a relatively young university. Shenyang University is now building a first-class university of its kind, and the Shenyang Municipal Government has relatively strong support. The school is currently undergoing renovation of the campus environment, and a large number of new buildings have been built and renovated. Shenyang University has indeed been developing in a good direction in recent years. In Liaoning Province, the admission score for science subjects has remained stable at 500 in the past two years (530 for popular majors), and the school's average score is basically the same as Liaoning Province's independent admissions score. Liberal arts are in the 550 score range. The admission score exceeds that of a large number of established first and second schools in Liaoning Province, and is in the same score range as Shenyang Jianzhu University and Shenyang University of Science and Technology.

In terms of discipline construction, there are more than 20 master's degree programs (master's degree, professional master's degree) and one doctoral program. The dominant subjects are not refined enough. This should be a problem at Shenyang University. Currently, only welding technology and engineering (top five in the country), environmental engineering, fine arts, civil engineering, accounting and other majors are ranked in the middle and upper reaches of the country. The school's postgraduate entrance examination rate is pretty good, at least the respondent's postgraduate entrance examination rate for his major is 20.

In terms of study and life, the so-called "eat at Shenyang University" is widely spread among universities in Liaoning. The canteen of Shenyang University is of high quality and low price. The school is located within the Shenyang Ring Road and can be said to be the best university in Shenyang. With the advancement and completion of the school campus construction project, the environment of the campus and dormitories will be better. In short, Shenyang University is a good choice for candidates whose scores are above two and above one. I also believe and wish Shenyang University will get better and better.
