How many districts are there in Tianmen?

As of July 20 19, Tianmen has no districts, but there are three sub-district offices, 2 1 town and 1 township.

The three sub-district offices are Jingling Sub-district Office, Houkou Sub-district Office and Yanglin Sub-district Office.

2 1 Towns include: Duobao Town, Tuoshi Town, Zhanggang Town, Jiangchang Town, Wangchang Town, Yuxin Town, Huangtan Town, Yuekou Town, Henglin Town, Shipeng Town, Mayang Town, Duoxiang Town, Ganyi Town, Mawan Town, Lushi Town, Xiaoban Town, Old Town, Zaoshi Town, Hushi Town, etc.

The organizational evolution of Tianmen City after the founding of New China.

After the founding of New China, Tianmen County was under the jurisdiction of Jingzhou District, and 1970 was renamed Jingzhou District.

1On August 3rd, 987, the State Council approved the revocation of Tianmen County and the establishment of Tianmen City (county level). The former administrative area under the jurisdiction of Tianmen County is still the administrative area of Tianmen City, and it is still under the jurisdiction of Jingzhou District of Hubei Province.

1994,10124 October, with the approval of the State Council, the people's government of Hubei province decided to make Tianmen, Qianjiang and Xiantao cities under the provincial jurisdiction by document E [1994] 143.

At this point, Tianmen became one of the first three municipalities directly under the central government (Heaven, Fairy and Hidden) (Suizhou was established as a municipality directly under the central government on 1994 1 1.5, and was upgraded to a prefecture-level city in August 2000).

In 2002, the People's Government of Hubei Province brought Tianmen into Wuhan city circle.
