According to the Interim Provisions on the Evaluation of Professional Level of Communication Professionals and Technical Personnel and the Notice on the Implementation Measures for Primary and Intermediate Professional Level Examinations of Communication Professionals and Technical Personnel (No.0/KLOC [2006] of People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry), those who sign up for the Intermediate Professional Level Examination of Communication Professionals and Technical Personnel must abide by the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), the People's Republic of China (PRC) creed and the relevant national telecommunications rules and regulations.

A person who signs up for the intermediate level examination of communication major shall also meet one of the following conditions:

1, obtained a college degree in communication engineering, and worked in communication for 5 years;

2. Obtain a bachelor's degree in communication engineering and have been engaged in communication for 4 years;

3. Obtained a double bachelor's degree in communication engineering or graduated from a postgraduate class, and engaged in communication professional work for 2 years;

4. Obtain a master's degree in communication engineering and have been engaged in communication professional work for 1 year;

5. Get a doctorate in communication engineering;

6. Those who have obtained the above-mentioned education or other engineering professional degrees will have a corresponding increase of 2 years of working experience in communication engineering.
