First, the basic situation of the center

Maoming CDC is the technical guidance center for emergency treatment and disease prevention and control of public emergencies in Maoming, and it is a deputy-level public welfare institution under Maoming Health Bureau. Established in March 2002, formerly known as Maoming Health and Epidemic Prevention Station, was established in 1959.

This unit covers an area of 10 mu, with a total construction area of 12349 square meters. There are office building and laboratory building, 12 professional department and 5 administrative logistics departments. The office environment is spacious and comfortable, with staff canteen, lounge, recreation room, party member activity room and basketball court.

The center has employees 107, including 94 professional and technical personnel. Among the employees, 24% have senior titles and 36% have intermediate titles. The center is committed to building and cultivating high-quality disease control talents. In recent years, four full-time staff members have been sent to participate in one-year provincial field epidemiological investigation training, and 1 staff members have been sent to participate in two-year field epidemiological training.

The Center has undertaken a number of provincial and municipal scientific research projects, including "Phase III Clinical Trial of Protective Efficacy of Freeze-dried Live Attenuated Nasal Influenza Vaccine in Changchun" managed by the World Health Organization, "Study on the Distribution of Vibrio in Coastal Waters of China and Its Relationship with Environmental Factors" managed by the China CDC, and "Key Scientific and Technological Project for Prevention and Treatment of H7N9 Subtype Avian Influenza in Guangdong Province" managed by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The projects managed by Maoming Science and Technology Bureau include: the establishment of real-time fluorescence PCR detection technology platform and its application in Maoming disease prevention and control, the research on epidemic strains and drug resistance of Vibrio cholerae in Maoming, the special prevention and control technology project of Maoming COVID-19, the research on the detoxification process and external environmental pollution of Maoming novel coronavirus infection cases in 2020, and the application of multi-pathogen detection technology platform in novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control.

Second, the recruitment target and basic recruitment conditions

The job conditions of this on-site open recruitment are formulated by Maoming Center for Disease Control and Prevention according to the actual needs of the employer, and the target is previous graduates.
