The reactor adopts 177 core design, and the core design refueling cycle is 18 months. On March 25th, 2023, with the successful completion of the 168-hour trial operation test, the first "Hualong No.1" nuclear power unit in western China, Unit 3 of Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station of China General Nuclear Power Group, officially met the commercial operation conditions.
