I. Introduction of Golmud Education Bureau

It is the municipal education administrative department established by the Municipal People's Government, and the approved institutional specifications are sub-county. Responsible for the planning, overall planning and management of the city's education and teaching; Specifically perform the management functions of primary and secondary school teachers' qualification identification, recruitment, deployment and exchange, job evaluation and employment, training and assessment, rewards and punishments, and at the same time inspect and appoint principals of municipal schools and schools in agricultural and pastoral areas according to the cadre management authority.

The Education Bureau has three functional departments: Office, Personnel Department and Education Department. Subordinate institutions: Municipal Teaching and Research Office, Municipal Admissions Office, Municipal Education Supervision Office, and Municipal Work-study Program Office.

By September 2007, there were 46 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the city, including primary schools 1 1, 26 middle schools (including vocational middle schools, ethnic middle schools, nine-year compulsory schools and simple schools for farmers) and 9 kindergartens (including municipal kindergartens 1, 7 private kindergartens and petroleum and military schools).

Three. Educational planning

Golmud Education Bureau, located at No.28 Zhongshan Road, is the administrative department of education at the deputy county level.
