Xiamen Overseas Chinese Service Society was established. Since then, overseas Chinese service agencies have been established in Guangdong Province, Fujian Province and several central cities, and were renamed as "Overseas Chinese Travel Agency" on 1957.

The "Headquarters of Overseas Chinese Travel Agency" was established in Beijing to coordinate the work of overseas Chinese travel agencies all over the country, initially forming a nationwide network.

Premier Zhou Enlai suggested that "Overseas Chinese Travel Agency Head Office" should be retained and the name of "China Travel Agency Head Office" should be added.

China China Travel Agency (Group) Co., Ltd. and China China Travel Service Group were established in Beijing and co-located with China Travel Agency Head Office.

In May, China China Travel Agency (Group) Co., Ltd. and China Travel Agency Branch.

On June+10, 5438, the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce approved the registration of the trademark "CTS China Travel Agency".

In February 65438, CTS Tower, the landmark building of China CTS, was completed in Beijing. China China Travel Service Group held a grand ceremony and celebrated the 45th anniversary of China Travel Agency.

The general offices of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council promulgated the general handling opinions and specific implementation plans for the decoupling of non-financial enterprises by the central party and government organs, and listed China Travel Agency (Group) Company as the first batch of centrally managed enterprises.

China Travel Agency Head Office's first holding unit, Guangdong Gongbei Port China Travel Agency Co., Ltd., was established, and has held dozens of hotels in China so far.

The head office of China Travel Agency and TUI Group of Germany, one of the three largest tourism enterprise groups in the world, jointly established CTE Travel Co., Ltd., the first foreign-controlled travel agency in China. German Chancellor Schroeder attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

China China Travel Agency (Group) Company merged into China Hongkong China Travel Agency Group Company.
