How tiring is the field of surveying and mapping?

I personally felt very tired. I changed jobs after working for more than a year. As the name suggests, surveying and mapping involves first outdoor surveying and then in-house drawing. I worked in a land and resources survey and planning institute. During that time, I was doing urban cadastral work. It was summer, and I started working at around 7 o'clock every day. I finished work at 8 o'clock in the evening and went back to draw pictures. Painting until 12 o'clock at night. The body is destroyed by external karma, and the brain is destroyed by internal karma. Later, I went to do land consolidation. I vaguely remember that I had to walk more than 20 kilometers with the RTK every day. Later, I went to work on the terrain, which was in the desert, at least 30 kilometers a day. Sometimes when it comes to boundary demarcation, demarcation is relatively easy. This is good. Our Land Survey and Planning Institute has a Level B surveying and mapping qualification, and the content and scope of surveying is still relatively small. If you go to the Surveying and Mapping Institute or other companies with Class A qualifications, it will be much more difficult than us. However, our salary is still very high, about 8,000 yuan per month.

Speaking of boredom, I can give you an example. At that time, we were working near the railway, which was deserted. Whenever a passenger train passed by, everyone would take out their mobile phones to open WeChat as agreed, and then shake Shake.

Surveying and mapping is undoubtedly a difficult industry. Many people who majored in surveying and mapping no longer do this. Most of the people who do surveying and mapping are laymen.

The only advantage of surveying and mapping is health and longevity. I exercise every day, hahaha.
