Characteristics of Anyue lemon

Youlike, the main lemon variety in Anyue, has been cultivated and domesticated for more than 80 years, and has been bred into a strain with high yield, high quality and strong stress resistance through breeding and purification. Tested by China Citrus Research Institute, and compared with California and Sicily lemons, Anyue lemon contains 7.4‰ lemon oil, 9.5% soluble solids, 6.7% citric acid, VC58/ 100 ml, juice yield of 38%, Vp2.5%, pectin of 3%, and is rich in vitamins and trace elements such as inositol and limonene. Lemon oil contains citral.

Lemon is rich in vitamins such as Vc, Ve, Vp, Va, Vb 1 and Vb2, as well as many essential trace elements such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and magnesium. It has certain curative effects on enhancing vascular toughness, skin metabolism, liver and kidney function, expelling gallstones, lowering cholesterol, and preventing hypertension, heart disease, oral ulcer, scurvy, calcium deficiency in children and the elderly. Lemon fruit contains 7.4‰ oil. Lemon essential oil is a second-class natural essential oil, which is often used to produce the first-class essence of high-grade food, cosmetics and beverages, and is also the main raw material for producing limonene, an important drug for treating gallstones.
