If it is cadence's ic5141, you can only use redhat enterprise version 4 or centos enterprise version 4 at most. Other versions will not work...

Cadence mainly relies on the glibc version of Linux. If the version is too high and does not match, it will not run. Even if some components can run, it will not work. The most common components cannot be used. It is the dracula of territory verification. It won't work with cadence's update patch... This requires cadence to recompile for the new linux glibc version.

My job is mainly responsible for configuring the cadence environment on Linux. In versions above ubuntu8.04, dracula cannot run, but schematic can.

Fedora 7 or above does not work, and the following versions are not verified.

It is recommended to use redhat enterprise version 3 or 4, which is the best and most suitable version for running cadence.
