What are the examination and approval conditions for grassroots legal service workers in Changsha?

(1) Persons who meet the following requirements may apply for the practice license of grassroots legal service workers and obtain the practice certificate of legal service workers:

1, support the Constitution, abide by the law, and have the right to vote and stand for election.

2. Good conduct.

3. Good health.

4. Have a bachelor's degree or above in law, or have a college degree or above in law, and have been engaged in legal education, research or legal work in state organs for two years, or have a college degree or above in non-law major, and have been engaged in legal education, research or legal work in state organs for five years;

5 to participate in the on-the-job training of the provincial grassroots legal service workers association and pass the examination;

6, in the grassroots legal service practice for a certain period of time, and by the local city and state grassroots legal service industry organization assessment. Persons with the qualifications of lawyers, legal professionals, notaries and corporate legal advisers may also apply for grassroots legal services.

(2) A person under any of the following circumstances may not apply for the practice license of a grassroots legal service office:

1, who has received criminal punishment (except negligent crime);

2. Being expelled from public office;

3. Dismissed by grassroots legal services;

4. The lawyer's or notary's practice license has been revoked or the penalty period for stopping practicing has not expired;

5, has been practicing in a law firm or notary office;

6. No capacity for civil conduct or limited capacity for civil conduct;

7. Other circumstances in which laws and regulations prohibit engaging in grassroots legal services.
