Shangri-La Songzanlinka Meijingge Hotel opened in 2009, located next to Songzanlin Temple in Shangri-La mountain area. This is the first and only Meijingge Hotel of Accor Group in China. Not anymore. Now it's self-operated. It's called Shangri-La Songzanlinka Hotel.

Shangri-La is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, which means the sun and moon in the heart in Tibetan. It is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, in the hinterland of Hengduan Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
