You can choose the duration of the visa according to your own needs, but the visa process is still very complicated. Here, I would like to share with you the new 10-year visa policy and detailed procedures in the United States.

Today, I will share my experience in applying for an American visa.

1. First, go to the website of Figure 1 and register. Remember your most commonly used email address. After registration, you have a UID. If you are applying for travel, of course, it is a non-immigrant visa.

2. Then fill in the personal information, and you can add peers. There is a column asking for your DS code. If you haven't filled in the 160 form, you can fill in AA+UID for the time being, so I suggest filling in the DS 160 form first.

3. When making payment, please save the payment barcode;

4. Make an appointment for an interview. Make an appointment according to your own situation. You can apply for amendment or cancellation. See the website for the specific time. If the number of cancellations exceeds the online limit, you will be required to pay again.

The first page of the US visa application shows the form for filling in Ds 160. This form is very important, it will give you an AA ten digit. Fill in DS 160 with the following information:

If you don't save the next page for 20 minutes, you will return to the first login page. Click to modify the login again. So when filling in the 10 page form, please be sure to save every page, otherwise it will really crash, even if it is saved for more than 20 minutes. The contents of the form are very detailed, including basic information, family situation, where to stay in the United States (self-compiled), where to travel before (my husband and I applied for visas such as Schengen and Japan), work information, academic information, criminal record, uploading photos, etc. , all required to be filled in English;

At the end of writing, it will check the information for you on the page. You must be careful, and finally save the screenshot. Once the passport number is entered, it cannot be changed or browsed. Finally, you can only see the confirmation page that needs to print DS 160 (Figure 3). If the information I developed is wrong in the end, I can only apply for a new DS, change a new number, go through the previous steps again and crash.

Remember, after the completion, log in to the email address on the home page of the US visa application, click Modify Personal Information, enter the correct Ds code, which is the ten digits of AA, and confirm the appointment time. You will receive a confirmation letter in the mailbox. To read the barcode on the confirmation letter, you need to print Figure 4.

6. The interview should bring:

Necessary: passport, DS 160 form, reservation confirmation letter (organic bar code reading).

Optional tapes: employment certificate, income certificate, photos of famous scenic spots, family photos, real estate license, etc.

Matters needing attention in interview:

1: Be sure to smile, because visa officers are usually very serious, and smiling can break the deadlock;

2: Your materials are all auxiliary materials, and the visa officer will not take the initiative to read them. At this time, you should take the initiative to attack;

No matter what you do, in the eyes of visa officers, you tend to emigrate, so you have to prove that you have nothing to keep you in China, such as a well-paid job, family and children.

In the consular district of Guangzhou, you will get a yellow note, and if you pass the meeting, you will receive your passport. If you fail, you will only say "I'm sorry" and a white note.
