Where does Nanxi community belong?

Nanxi is located in the southwest of Rencheng Town. According to legend, during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403- 1424), immigrants from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province moved here to settle down, so it was named Nanxi because it was located in the southwest of the county. There is a temple fair on the 28th day of the first lunar month.

The village covers an area of 300 mu, with 250 households, 1075 people, 300 mu of cultivated land and 6 production teams.
