Notice of the Ministry of Land and Resources on Publishing the List of the Second Batch of "Ten Counties" for Group Monitoring and Prevention of Geological Disasters

In order to further promote the standardization and standardization of the construction of group monitoring and prevention system, and improve the prevention mechanism and system of geological disasters at the county level, our department began to carry out the construction of "ten counties" for group monitoring and prevention of geological disasters nationwide in 2009. Over the past two years, various measures have been taken to complete the first batch of "ten counties" construction and the second batch of "ten counties" acceptance, and the construction of "ten counties" has achieved remarkable results.

According to the Notice of the Ministry of Land and Resources on Developing the Construction of Ten Counties with Geological Disasters (No.46 [2009] of the Ministry of Land and Resources), the list of the second batch of 545 counties (cities, districts) such as Fangshan District in Beijing that passed the acceptance on 20 10 is now published.

I hope that the "ten counties" will sum up their experience and make persistent efforts to strive for greater progress and achievements. At the same time, it is hoped that other regions will follow their example, do a solid job in the prevention and control of geological disasters in future work, strive to create a new situation in the prevention and control of geological disasters, and make new and greater contributions to the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way and economic and social development.
