(a) The preparations for immigration to the United States are as follows

(2) Foreigners who immigrate to the United States must go through the entry formalities at the airport where they land, that is, they are inspected by immigration officers and customs officials at the airport. 1. Registration Form

On the way to the United States, the stewardess will distribute the passenger I-94 entry and exit record card (arrival/departure record card) and customs declaration form (6059B customs declaration form). Before the plane lands, every passenger must fill in the immigration form in English as required. If you don't know English, you can ask the stewardess or help fill it out.

Foreigners holding immigrant visas for the first time do not need to fill in the I-94 card.

2. Entry formalities

After the plane arrives at the American airport, passengers will enter the immigration inspection hall under the guidance of airline personnel. Passengers, whether arriving at their final destination or transferring to other cities in the United States, must go through immigration inspection procedures at the first American port of entry.

4. Entry stamp

Inbound foreign passengers should put their passports, I-94 entry and exit cards, customs declaration forms and corresponding entry documents on the US visa page in turn and hand them over to the immigration officer for inspection and inquiry. Usually the immigration officer will decide whether to allow you to enter the country within one minute. If you are allowed to enter the country, immigration officials will stamp the passport page after inspection.
