1. Application conditions

Mainland residents who have one of the following circumstances and need to go to Hong Kong or Macau to settle can apply for a permit to travel to Hong Kong and Macau:

(4) Parents who are over 18 years old and under 60 years old, who have settled in Hong Kong or Macao and have no children in Hong Kong or Macao Those who are over 60 years old and need to be taken care of;

(5) Those who are over 60 years old and have no children in the Mainland and need to take refuge in Hong Kong or Macao with children over 18 years old;

(6) Those who need to settle in Hong Kong or Macau under special circumstances.

“Without children in Hong Kong or Macao” in item (4) of the preceding paragraph refers to those who do not have permanent resident status in Hong Kong or Macao, or who have settled in Hong Kong or Macao with the approval of the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ child.

In item (5) of the preceding paragraph, "no children in the Mainland" refers to children who do not have permanent residence in the Mainland.

2. Application method

Mainland residents who apply for travel passes to Hong Kong and Macao should submit the application together with the relatives in Hong Kong or Macao who plan to reunite to the county level or above where their permanent residence is located. The exit-entry administration department of the public security organ submits application materials and accepts interviews, inquiries and on-site collection of facial images by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ. Applicants under the age of 18 should be accompanied by their guardian when applying. 3. Application Procedures

(1) Submit the "Application Form for Mainland Residents to Settl in Hong Kong or Macao". Those under the age of 18 must submit a guardian's opinion agreeing to settle in Hong Kong or Macao, submit a resident household register, birth medical certificate and other guardianship relationship certificates, and the guardian's original resident identity card, and submit a copy;

(4) Submit the original Hong Kong or Macao resident identity card and Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents of the Hong Kong and Macao related person, and submit a copy. If the person related to Hong Kong and Macao is a foreign national, he or she should submit the original Hong Kong or Macao permanent resident identity card and foreign passport for verification, and submit a copy; if the person related to Hong Kong or Macao is a stateless person, he or she should submit the Hong Kong or Macao permanent resident identity card and the original copy. 4. Publicity

If the applicant meets the application conditions and reaches the approval score after review, the exit and entry management department of the public security organ will publicize the applicant's application status and accept public supervision. 5. Processing time limit and document collection

6. Renewal and reissuance of documents
