These are all positive manifestations of China's national character.

Not long ago, Time magazine in the United States released 60-year albums of outstanding figures in Asia and Europe respectively, and China leader Deng Xiaoping and actress Gong Li were selected at the same time. Many people object to this and think that Gong Li is not qualified to be on the same list as Deng Xiaoping. But I think this is a good thing, because it reflects that the international image of China people is becoming more and more diversified.

Of course, some people will think that we should not blindly cater to the tastes of westerners. However, it must be admitted that any country must be integrated into the international system and recognized by the global discourse system before it can successfully transform this system and realize the amplification of national values. China people can certainly take an independent road in the way and style of shaping celebrities. However, if we ignore the national image effect that celebrities can bring, then we may lose a simple choice opportunity and add more burden to our foreign exchanges.
