Republic of Fiji (English: Republic of Fiji; Fiji: Matanitu Galala Oviti), referred to as Fiji, is located in the center of the southwest Pacific Ocean, bordering Vanuatu in the east, Tonga in the west and Tuvalu in the south, with a land area of 18333 square kilometers and a marine exclusive economic zone area of1290,000 square kilometers. It consists of 332 islands, of which 106 is inhabited. Volcanic islands surrounded by coral reefs, mainly viti levu and Vanua Island. It has a tropical maritime climate and is often hit by hurricanes. The annual average temperature is 22 ~ 30℃.

885,000 (20 17), of which Fijians accounted for 56.8% and Indians accounted for 37.5%. There are about 8000 overseas Chinese. The official languages are English, Fijian and Hindi, and English is widely used. 53% people believe in Christianity, 38% people believe in Hinduism and 8% people believe in Islam.
