The Past of Qingdao is a chronological drama led by the Propaganda Department of Qingdao Municipal Committee and jointly produced by Shandong Film and Television Media Group, Qingdao Radio and Television Film and Television Media and Qingdao Phoenix Film and Television Media. Directed by Zhang Xinjian, the film stars Bo Huang, Huang Xiaolei, Liu Xiangjing, Gong Zheng, Fu Miao, Salina and Wang Kai.

Based on the opening of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in Qingdao, the drama tells the struggle history of the first generation of immigrants in Qingdao with the entrepreneurial stories of three brothers with different surnames as the main line [4-5].
