The Historical Evolution of Yihe Town

From the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, today's Yi River territory is a land of land and sea, belonging to Lijin County.

In the 13th year of Qing Daoguang (1833), fishermen from Zhanhua County settled in China and established villages, becoming the earliest residents in China.

In the fifth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1855), the Yellow River burst and diverted. In the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), the land was basically silted and developed, and immigrants such as farmers and businessmen moved in one after another.

At the end of Qing Dynasty, Jinyihe Town belonged to Zhongli Township in Zhanhua County and Yonghe Township in Lijin County.

In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), because people from all directions came here to reclaim land with the same loyalty, unity and harmony, this village was named Yihe Village.

In the twentieth year of the Republic of China (193 1), it belonged to the sixth district of Zhanhua County.

In September of the 38th year of the Republic of China (1949), the sixth district was changed to Yihe District.

1February, 950, renamed Zhanhua County Eight Districts; In May 1 1, Zhanhua County belongs to Huimin District.

1957 65438+February, eight districts were abolished and Yihe Town was established.

1958 September, Yihe Town was changed to Yihe People's Commune, called Yuejin Jiushe; In June 165438+ 10, Lijin County was merged into Zhanhua County, and the territory of Jinyihe Town belonged to Zhanhua County.

1June, 960, Yihe Commune was placed under Kenli County.

196 1 September, Yihe Commune returned to Zhanhua County.

1963 In February, Yihe People's Commune was abolished and changed to Yihe District.

1968 in may, Yihe district was revoked and Yihe people's commune was restored.

1September, 983, Zhanhua County handed over Yihe Commune to Dongying City, which was managed by Lijin County.

1July, 984, Yihe People's Commune was abolished and Yihe Town was established; In September, Hekou District was formally established, and Yihe Town belongs to it.
