Early experience

Andy warhol, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, is a descendant of Czech immigrants and grew up in a slum. It was the Great Depression of the 1930s, and food shortages were common.

When I was a child, Warhol experienced three mental breakdowns, a nervous system disease called "Rheumatic Chorea", which broke out in the summer holidays of 1936, 1937 and 1938 respectively. In those summers, he stayed indoors, lying in bed all day, listening to the radio, holding dolls and paper-cut dolls.

Sensitivity gradually became his lingering inferiority complex. He always feels unwelcome among his peers, and no one will talk to him. Fortunately, his mother gave him a lot of care and found some colorful magazines and cartoons from time to time, which invisibly influenced his later works.
