How long will the immigration supervision of Hong Kong Talent Plan last?

Without immigration control, generally being absent from Hong Kong for more than 180 days in a row will not affect the application of Hong Kong permanent residents.

The system of outstanding talents adopts quota system and the operation adopts scoring system. (There are about 1000 places a year)

Applicants must meet the requirements of basic qualification (* 1) before they can get a score according to one of the two scoring systems (full score is 165) set up in the plan. The two scoring systems are GPT(*2).

And APT(*3). The selection process will be conducted regularly. GPT has a minimum passing score, and applicants who fail to reach this score will not be selected. At present, the minimum passing score is 80, which may change at any time.
